Finally, the festival of lights is here, Happy Diwali to everyone. Today, people are celebrating…

In a November 11, 2017 entry in the register, Lalit had mentioned "someone's mistakes" behind the family's failure to 'attain something'. "Dhanteras has already been celebrated. You are far from achieving something due to someone's mistakes. There is a possibility that you might not see the next Diwali. Don't ignore the warnings. (Dhanteras aakar chali gayi. Kisi ki purani galti ke aabhaav se kuch prapti se door ho. Agli Diwali na mana sako. Chetavni ko nazar andaaz karne ke bajai gaur kiya karo)," the entry said. Post his father’s death, Lalit used to have these frequent encounters with his ‘spirit’. The notes said there were other souls accompanying the spirit of deceased family’s patriarch. It further added that these spirits were still longing for salvation or ‘mukti’. The notes were written in the Hindi language allegedly by Chundawat family members. In a diary entry from 2015, it was mentioned that four souls were wandering with Lalit’s father. It further said, if ‘you’ improve yourself, these souls will be freed. It talked about completing some rituals in Haridwar in order to release souls.“Four souls are still wandering with me. If you improve yourself, these souls will be freed. You feel that by completing all the rituals in Haridwar, the souls achieve salvation. I am accompanied by the souls of others also,” entry from July 19, 2015, said.As per the notes, the ‘four souls’ accompanying Lalit’s father belonged to Bhatia’s extended family. Notes said that the souls of Sajjan Singh, Hira, Dayanand, Ganga Devi, were waiting for ‘moksha’. Sajjan Singh was the father-in-law of Lalit Chundawat, Hira was the husband of Lalit’s sister Pratibha. Ganga Devi and Dayanand were the parents of Lalit’s brother-in-law.
