Andhadhun
Tabu portrayed the role of Simi, who is convinced that Aakash(Ayushmann Khurrana) is a blind person. She lets him play the piano, while Aakash sees Pramod’s dead body nearby but feigns ignorance and continues to play the instrument. Aakash then tries to report the murder to the police, but discovers that Manohar is a police inspector, forcing him to remain silent. The screen presence of Tabu, Ayushmann and Radhika Apte made the film a huge success.
Cheeni Kum
‘Cheeni Kum’ was a box-office hit film of 2007. This romantic comedy was helmed by R. Balki and which featured Amitabh Bachchan, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Zohra Sehgal and Swini Khara in the key roles. Big B portrayed the role of Buddhadev, a 64-year-old chef and owner of London’s top Indian restaurant. He is a confirmed bachelor who has never been in love until 34-year-old Nina Verma (Tabu) walks into his restaurant and his life. He falls for Nina’s beauty and charm.
De De Pyaar De
The plot of ‘De De Pyaar De’ is set around the life of Ashish (Ajay Devgn) who informs his crush Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh) that he is separated from his wife Manju Rao(Tabu) and his children live in India. Later when his new girlfriend finds out about his wife, the complications begin in their life. Tabu’s screen presence makes is a worth watch.
Hum Saath-Saath Hain
Ramkishen and Mamta have three sons, Vivek, Prem and Vinod. As Vivek is Mamta’s stepson, she embitters her heart towards him for the sake of her own sons. And Vivek accepts his mother as she is. On the other side, the three of the sons are very close to each other. Tabu was seen as Sadhna Sharma Chaturvedi, who is Adarsh’s daughter and becomes Vivek’s wife. As a shy yet humble women, she looks appears impressive in the film.
Hera Pheri
The film begins with Shyam (Suniel Shetty) searching for a job at a bank, which he finds is given to a girl named Anuradha Shivshankar Panikar (Tabu), even though Shyam was earlier promised to get the job. As a middle class girl, Tabu flaunts an impressive screen presence alongside Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in the comedy flick.
