Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah gets an animated version; Watch promo

‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the long-running and popular TV shows right now.  The show is known for its iconic characters such as Jethalal, Dayaben, Bapuji, and Tapu among others. The show takes place at the Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society and centers around the members of the Gokuldham Society.

However, now, the popular television show has gotten an animated version and it will premiere on the kids’ channel, Sony YAY! The official social media handle of the page shared the promo and wrote as: “Super exciting news!!

The promo of the show featured the main lead characters- Jethalal Gada (Dilip Joshi), Champaklal Gada (Amit Bhatt), Daya Gada (Disha Vakani) and Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi/ Raj Anadkat) in their animated versions.

The audience will finally witness their favorite Dayaben in the animated show, ever since she opted out of the serial post-delivery of her baby.

The Hindi sitcom is based on the weekly column “Duniya Ne Undha Chasma” by Taarak Mehta in Chitralekha magazine. It is produced by Asit Kumarr Modi. It premiered on 28 July 2008 and airs on Sony SAB. The show has been running for almost 13 years now and still does not fail to make its audience laugh.
