Taapsee Pannu hits back at Kangana Ranaut: ‘Respect is earned not commanded’

Kangana Ranaut has been hitting the likes of Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker, and Richa Chadha by calling them ‘needy outsiders’ and ‘B-grade actresses’, now, Taapsee, yet again hit back at Ranaut in a series of tweets.

A twitter user shared a video of Kangana, and wrote, “Now everyone is praising #KanganaRanaut for calling out nepotism, I want to show this video to them and ask what is the difference between her and Kjo? If it was her prerogative as a director to cut roles of co-stars, why kjo is blamed for his decisions? Courtesy: Republic Bharat”

To which, the ‘Pink’ actress immediately replied to the same and wrote, “There is no film as “solo” film , there is no actor such as “chota mota” actor. A film is a TEAM effort including all departments, all actors. The protagonist in NOTHING without the support of the ‘supporting’ cast. Respect is EARNED not COMMANDED.”

In another tweet, the ‘Mission Mangal’ actress wrote, “Arre !!???? Toh ab final kya hai ? Matter karta hai to be from the ‘inside’ or no. Yaar yeh sab kuch bohot confusing hota jaa raha hai 🤪 I’m gonna sign out of this before I forget ki mera stand kya hai 🤯”

Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee reacted to Ranaut’s accusations, “It’s disheartening to see someone making a mockery out of outsiders and the industry that has given us so much. Imagine the parents whose kids are coming into the industry. What will they think of us? Like we are some nasty evil people sitting here to eat outsiders?”
