The cases of Coronavirus have been increasing rapidly every day in Ahmedabad, the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) has decided that the remaining three of the five-day series of T20 International matches between India and England will be played without any spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium and refund will be provided to those who purchased tickets.
“Important update: Due to rise in the number of Corona cases, GCA has decided to conduct the remaining 3 T20’s behind closed doors. Whoever has already purchased the tickets for the respective three T20’s would be refunded positively once the formal decisions are taken,” the Gujrat Cricket Association tweeted.

India and England were played on March 12 and 14, while the rest three will be played on March 16, 18, and 20.
According to a report in IANS, the series opener between India and England possibly saw the largest crowd at the world’s largest stadium aka the Narendra Modi Stadium on March 12. The 1st T20I recorded an attendance of 67,200, at least 66,352 people attended the 2nd T20I on Sunday which India won by 7 wickets.
