Sylvester Stallone reveals he kept two turtles Cuff and Link from the iconic 70s movie and they are now 44 years old.
Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone had starred as an underdog boxer in the 70s classic ‘Rocky’ who forms a sweet relationship with a pet shop owner. The 72-year-old Hollywood legend recently sent his fans in a frenzy when he shared a picture of two turtles swimming in a tank.
Posing in front of the tank Sylvester revealed that he kept two turtles Cuff and Link from the iconic 70s movie and they are now 44 years old.

Sylvester explained they also featured in Creed II: “In CREED 2 with my original buddies from the first Rocky… CUFF and LINK, now about 44 years old!”
In Rocky Sylvester’s character sparked a romance with pet shop owner Adrian Pennino when he visited her store to buy supplies for his turtles. He famously tells her: ‘The exotic animals I was telling you about. These are my friends, Cuff and Link.’
The turtles are not the only pet Sylvester has kept from his films over the years as he also owned Butkus, a bull mastiff, who appeared in Rocky and Rocky II. He had to sell the dog due to the financial crisis but bought him back but had to pay the owner $15,000.

Sylvester uploaded a picture of him cuddling his pet pooch as he praised his “confidant” and “best friend”.
Fans were over the moon to know that their hero had kept the turtles and filled his social media handle with praises.On the work front, Sylvester will be starring in ‘Rambo V: Last Blood’, which will be released later this year. The movie is the fifth in the franchise, and it will be the last time Sylvester takes on the role of John Rambo.
