The second wave of coronavirus has caused a grim situation in every corner of the country. The oxygen crisis that has gripped the country’s hospitals has hampered the healthcare system and patients are finding it increasingly tough to aid hospital beds, medicines, and oxygen supply.
Amid this, Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has managed to organize a few oxygen cylinders for a hospital in Delhi for Coronavirus patients. The ‘Main Hoon Naa actress shared that she had already organized a few cylinders for hospitals in Mumbai, however, could not find the right to transport them to Delhi.
Sushmita re-tweeted a video on her Twitter handle, in which she learned about the oxygen crisis in Delhi. She also asked her followers to urge a way she could send cylinders to their help. On Thursday, she wrote on Twitter, “This is deeply heart breaking…oxygen crisis is everywhere. I have managed to organise a few oxygen cylinders for this hospital but have no way to transport it to Delhi from Mumbai…please help me find a way🙏”

Soon after, Sushmita informed Twitterati that oxygen cyclinders has been organized by the hospital. “👏👏👏👏👏 The said hospital has oxygen organised for now!!! It gives us more time to send the cylinders!! Thank you all soooooo much for helping create awareness & support!! 🤗🙏 deeply grateful!!! Stay good hearted…it suits you!!!😇❤️”
Many netizens lauded Sushmita Sen for this. On the work front, she was shooting for the second season of Disney+Hotstar ‘Aarya’ in Jaipur. Currently, she is in Mumbai with her family.
