Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister on his demise: Didn’t expect he would take such a drastic step

Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise came as a shock to the entire nation. He is the fourth popular star from the film industry to have passed away in the last two months after Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor and Wajid Khan from the Sajid-Wajid duo. Now, the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti opened up on her brother’s demise.
Shweta Singh Kirti was not able to attend the funeral as she is in the United States, however, she revealed that she finally got the tickets to India and will be flying on June 16, 2020. Now, during an interview with India Today, she said that she was informed about the actor’s depression analysis but never expected him to take such a drastic step, he did not have any monetary difficulties either.
However, the late actor was unwell for the past week and his sister also visited the actor at his Bandra house in Mumbai.
Reportedly, before the actor’s demise, Sushant’s last call was to television actor and close friend, Mahesh Shetty, a night before his death, before that he also spoke to his sister briefly.
A report in The Times Of India, stated, “Rajput’s sister said he had no financial problems but was under treatment for depression for past six months. His friend Mahesh Shetty said the actor had called him early on Sunday, but he did not pick up. He said if he had, the situation might have been different.”
Sushant last rites were held at Vile Parle’s Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. He was laid to rest as his father and his two sisters performed the last rites. Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ekta Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, Abhishek Kapoor, and his wife were some of the celebs who paid their last respect to the late actor.
