Bollywood actor Nana Patekar visited late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family home. The actor met Sushant’s father KK Singh to pay his condolence at the Rajiv Nagar home in Patna on Sunday. He also paid a floral tribute at Sushant’s portrait. Patekar was in Bihar to take part in a cultural function of CRPF at Mokamah (in Patna district).
“I just met his (late actors) father. And what else I can do,” news agency PTI quoted Nana Patekar as saying after meeting the family.
Sushant Singh Rajput 34 committed suicide at his Bandra home in Mumbai on June 14. He was said to be under stress and depression for some months. The Raabta stars last rites were held in Mumbai after which the family returned to Patna for the final puja. The actor’s ashes were immersed in Ganga in Patna.
As per recent reports, Sushant’s family has decided to turn their home into a memorial. They are also setting up a foundation after him to support young and budding talents. It will be called Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation. The family has also announced that Sushant’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook page will be maintained as “legacy accounts to keep his memories alive.”
Sushant Singh Rajput had garnered immense fame as Manav in hit television serial Pavitra Rishta co-starring Ankita Lokhande. He soon marked his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che. Sushant was the star of films such as ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Raabta’, ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chichhore’.
