Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer had been proceeding her plea in SC of seeking a transfer of the Bihar FIR to Mumbai Police, which was filed against her by K. K Singh for money laundering and abatement of suicide allegations. The top court has now pronounced its verdict on her plea. On Wednesday i.e August 19 SC announced that CBI will investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death completely.
According to the SC’s verdict the Mumbai police has been asked to hand over all the evidence collected so far to the investigating agency. Apparently, the court also stated that the FIR registered in Bihar based on the complaint filed by Sushant Singh’s father was correct and Bihar was competent to ask the CBI to investigate the case.
For the unversed, Mumbai Police was reportedly investigating the case through depression and suicide theory. And it has interrogated people accordingly. The actor was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. However, CBI to now take over the complete probe and investigation it independently.
Rhea Chakraborty on the other side was summoned by Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai and she had appeared for the questioning sessions twice with her brother.
