Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Background:
The actor was born in Patna (Bihar) to Krishna Kumar Singh and Usha Singh. His father is a retired technical officer, who had worked at the Bihar State Handloom Corporation in Patna. SSR was the youngest of five siblings and he was adored the most for being the younger one in family. After the demise of his mother in 2002, his family to moved to Delhi. Before kickstarting his acting career he had joined Delhi College of Engineering in mechanical engineering. But he left the course in his third year to pursue his acting career and decided to come to Mumbai.

Sushant Singh Rajput made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che! in the year 2013. Before getting this film, he had appeared in successful television show, Pavitra Rishta and several commercials. Before making his way to the spotlight he had worked as a background dancer which was mentored by Shamik Davar. Right after leaving his studies in his third year he had joined this dance company. He was seen dancing in the background with A-listers such as Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.

Sushant Singh Rajput was an avid reader of thick non-fiction books. He owned an advanced telescope, which was placed in the balcony of his Bandra residence. He had bought a peace of land on moon, which makes him first ever Bollywood star to buy a land on the moon. He had bought a piece of lunar land on the far side on the Moon, in region called the Mare Muscoviense of the ‘Sea of Muscovy”.
