‘Basanti’: Manoj Bajpayee, Karishma Tanna, Abhishek Banerjee’s dance number is peppy and groovy
‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ new song, ‘Basanti’ is out now!
The makers of the satirical comedy-drama film, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari have released their first ever dance number, titled, Basanti, which featured Abhishek Banerjee, Karishma Tanna and Manoj Bajpayee, the trio are seen dancing in full enthusiasm. The track is Karishma’s first-ever dance number in a Bollywood song.

In the video, Manoj is seen wearing a prosthetic look, with a full face, pointed nose, and heavy pot belly, and it is impossible to recognize him at first. Karishma looks absolutely stunning as she dons a shimmery red gown and Abhishek can be seen grooving to the song.

A few days back the trailer of the film was released and it gained immense appreciation from the audience. In the movie, Bajpayee playing the role of a wedding detective, who checks the background of grooms on the behalf of girl’s family, set in the 90’s, whereas, Diljit Dosanjh’s plays an eligible bachelor in search of a bride. Fatima Sana Shaikh plays a Marathi girl from Bombay, with a rebellious streak, whose family wants to see her settled.
The cast of the film also includes names such as Annu Kapoor, Shriya Pilgaokar, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa among others. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, produced by Shariq Patel and Subhash Chandra under the banners Zee Studios and Essel Vision Productions.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is set to release this Diwali.
