Superstar Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30′ has finally released in theatres. The movie that is a biopic on a Patna based Mathematician has had a satisfactory start at the box office on its opening day. As reported by Boxofficeindia.com, the film collected around Rs 11-11.50 crore on its first day.
The movie witnessed average footfalls at the theatres on the morning and afternoon shows. But soon thanks to positive word of mouth the occupancy increased towards the evening shows. Hrithik Roshan starrer soon started its box office journey with good collection on day 1.
The first day collections of Super 30’s are higher than Hrithik’s last film, Kaabil. The thriller that released in 2017 had collected around Rs 10.43 crores. The box office opening of Super 30 is said to be higher than Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Raid’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Padman’ too.
Thanks to the positive reviews and favourable word of mouth, Super 30 is likely to witness big jump in its collection over the weekend. The movie has all the elements to attract massive viewers over the weekend.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is based on the life of award-winning mathematician Anand Kumar. He trains underprivileged children for the IIT entrance examination under his Super 30 educational program in his hometown Patna in Bihar.
The movie also features Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Singh and Amit Sadh.
