Actor and politician Sunny Deol has tested positive for Covid-19. The Gurdaspur MP shared the update on Twitter, saying he is fine. He also asked all those who came in contact with him since the past few days to get themself tested. Earlier on Tuesday, Himachal Pradesh health secretary had shared that Sunny had tested positive.
“I got myself tested for coronavirus and the result has come back positive. I am in isolation and feeling well. I request that all those who came in contact with me recently should isolate themselves and get tested,” he wrote in a tweet.

The 64-year-old actor had undergone shoulder surgery in Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district. He got tested before returning to Mumbai and tested positive. But the actor is asymptomatic.
On the work front, Sunny Deol will soon be seen in the sequel for Apne. The movie brings together three generations of Deols. It will star Dharmendra sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol along with grandson Karan Deol, It will be directed by Anil Sharma and will have a Diwali 2021 theatrical release.
