Actor and comedian, Sunil Grover was last seen sharing the screen space with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani in action extravaganza ‘Bharat’. After taking a long break from silver screens, the actor is now gearing up for the release of his web series.
As per the latest reports, the web series, ‘Sunflower’ will be releasing on ZEE5 and Vikas Bahl is said to have written the script. He will co-direct the series with Rahul Sengupta. “The conceptualisation of the web series is extremely top notch. Mixing crime with comedy is an exciting genre to work with,” apparently said Sunil Grover in a statement while talking about the project.
Reportedly, the plot of the web series revolves around the life of a middle-class family, based in Mumbai. Alongside, Sunil Grover, the web series will have some quirky characters. The lead has already began his shootings according to the reports.
Most recently, Sunil Grover was seen in ‘Gangs of Filmistaan’, which is an Hindi stand up comedy show, which premiered on Star Bharat post the pandemic lockdown eased. He was seen as Bhindi Bhai, a don. The don gave his house on rent. But instead of taking rent, he asks them to entertain him.
