Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence. Post his demise, his family, friends, and fans have been demanding justice to know the cause of his death. Now, a sculptor Sukanto Roy from Asansol, in West Bengal has created a wax statue of the Dil Bechara actor.
Sukanto Roy said, “I liked him a lot, it is sad that he passed away. I have made this statue for my museum. However, if his family requests for his statue I’ll make a new one,” reported ANI.

The statue has also been put up at the museum and is open for visitors. Sushant Singh Rajput can be seen smiling in the wax statue, as he wore a denim jacket, jeans, and a T-shirt inside. Netizens have also been paying tribute to the late actor by making his portraits, special videos, and handmade cards.
Apart from SSR’s wax statue, Sukanto Roy has also created the wax statue of other famous personalities including actor Amitabh Bachchan and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans have already started a petition, seeking a wax statue for Sushant at the Madame Tussauds museum, “In Loving Memory of Sushant Singh Rajput: To add his wax statue at Madame Tussauds London,” read the title of the petition.
Meanwhile, the late actor’s death case is currently investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Narcotics Control Bureau. (NCB)
