SSR Death Case: NCB Arrest Zaid Vilatra-Basit Parihar For Drugs Connection With Showik Chakraborty & Samuel Miranda

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has taken a new turn ever since the drug angle was unveiled. The NCB had begun its investigation and apparently has already arrested few people. They were having connections with Showik and Samuel Miranda in drug dealing.

As per the statement by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau), they have arrested one Abdul Basit Parihar from Bandra, Mumbai. He has a connection with Samuel Miranda(Sushant’s friend). Miranda has been accused of procuring drugs on the instructions of Showik Chakraborty, Rhea’s brother.

A tweet by news agency ANI states that “After due procedure and taking evidence on record, Zaid was apprehended. During the Rs 9,55,750 and US $ 2081, 180 British Pound, 15 Dirham was recovered, regarding which Zaid Vilatra disclosed as proceeds of drug peddling: Narcotics Control Bureau (sic)”.

The news agency further quoted NCB as saying that “He (Basit) had a connection with Samuel Miranda. Miranda is accused of procuring drugs on instructions of Showik Chakraborty (the brother of prime accused and Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty)”. 

After due procedure and taking evidence on record, Zaid was apprehended. During the Rs 9,55,750 and US $ 2081, 180 British Pound, 15 Dirham was recovered, regarding which Zaid Vilatra disclosed as proceeds of drug peddling: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

CBI, ED, has been interrogating Rhea Chakraborty, her family members alongside people who were linked with Sushant Singh Rajput.
