The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been probing the drug angle in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Yesterday the team arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and the Bollywood star’s house manager, Samuel Miranda. The duo were arrested in connection with the drug angle probe. Today the NCB is all set to produce the two in a local court.
As reported by sources to Zee News, Showik has confessed to NCB that he used to buy drugs for Sushant Singh on the behest of his sister Riya through Samuel Miranda. Samuel has also told NCB that he used to arrange drugs, named Budd, at the behest of Showik for Sushant.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Deputy director KPS Malhotra of the NCB said, “We have informed Showik and Samuel Miranda’s family and both have been arrested under several sections of NDPS act”. He also informed that both will be produced in the court on Saturday.
NCB has booked the duo under IPC sections 20 (B) -deals with production, possession, transportation, and usage of cannabis, 28 (counterfeit), 29, and 27 (A). Along with Showik and Miranda the NCB has also arrested Basit Parihar, Kaizan Ibraham, and Zaid.
Reportedly Rhea Chakraborty can also be arrested.
