SSR Case: Rhea Chakraborty Arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau

Narcotics Control Bureau arrests Rhea Chakraborty today under various sections of NDPS. The actress was being questioned by the Narcotics Bureau of Investigation (NCB) for the third consecutive day. This was as a part of the investigation into the alleged drug abuse in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

After brother Showik Chakraborty, She is also taken into custody on charges of drug procurement and consumption.

Reportedly, she will now be procured before the court, along with three other arrested accused. The NCB is likely to file a plea before the court seeking that they need to keep all four in police remand for further questioning.

Rhea will reportedly be taken to the hospital for medical tests and will later be produced before the magistrate for remand in the evening.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti was among the first ones to react to the news on Twitter. She wrote, “God is with us”.
