PM Modi acknowledges Subramanian Swamy's letter demanding CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise left the nation shocked. The Raabta star had committed suicide on June 14 in Mumbai. The post-mortem reports have declared that the actor died due to asphyxia. But many are speculating some foul play in his death.
A number of fans and colleagues are demanding CBI inquiry in SSR’s suicide case. Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy had also written a letter to PM Narendra Modi requesting a CBI investigation.
Now after a week, the PM has finally responded to the request by Swamy. PM Modi has acknowledged Subramanian Swamy’s letter. The senior leader has re-tweeted tweets sharing a copy of the letter from Prime Minister’s office. It read as, “I have received your letter of July 15, 2020,”
In the letter that Subramanian Swamy addressed to PM Modi, he stated learning from his sources that Sushant’s death is being covered up as a suicide. He stated that big names in Bollywood with the help of dons in Dubai are asking Mumbai Police to cover up the death and call it voluntary suicide.

Besides Sushant’s fans, various celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Shekhar Suman, BJP MP Roopa Ganguly had demanded CBI investigation in the matter.
