Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family filed FIR against Rhea Chakraborty at Patna. The actress in response moved the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the investigation to Mumbai. Now SSR’s family has filed a caveat in Supreme Court. As reported by Republic World, The family sought that Rhea’s petition not be allowed to be heard “ex-parte” in their counter-petition.
The report also stated that Sushant’s family, advocate Vikas Singh will be present in the court for the proceedings.
Talking to PTI, lawyer Vikas Singh said, “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had registered a First Information Report against Rhea under charges of abetment to suicide, embezzlement, cheating, and conspiracy. This was under Sections 340, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306 of the IPC. The FIR was registered at Rajendra Nagar Police Station in Bihar. Singh said in his report that Rhea allegedly took away cash and jewellery from Sushant’s house. Also, Rhea fired Sushant’s bodyguard on March 22.
Sushant’s father also claimed that Rhea had distanced Sushant from family, made him consume an overdose of medicines, and threatened to leak his medical details to the media. She allegedly transferred Rs 15 crore from Sushant’s account to some other account.
