Enforcement Directorate summons Rhea Chakraborty over Sushant Singh Rajput case on this date
There has been a new update with each passing day in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Prominent name that has come in focus time and again is of actress Rhea Chakraborty. As per the latest reports, the actress now is to be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate after the CBI probe comes into the picture.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned actor Rhea Chakraborty for questioning on August 7. This is in connection with a money laundering complaint filed by Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father following his death. SSR’s father KK Singh has accused Rhea and family of abetting the actor’s suicide. KK Singh has also filed a complaint against her with the Patna police, accusing her of unlawful confinement too.
As reported by sources to CNN, Rhea will also be questioned regarding a money laundering case filed by Sushant’s father. She will be questioned regarding two properties in Mumbai. They will also check if the flow of investments in these properties was made from Sushant’s accounts. The ED will record her statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The Raabta star was found hanging at his Mumbai home on June 14. Mumbai police have been investigating if there has been any foul play. They have recorded the statement of family and many prominent celebs. But fans have been demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. Yesterday the Centre too has greenlit a CBI inquiry for SSR’s case.
