Karan Johar's Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta Records For Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case
After Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Dharma Production’s CEO Apoorva Mehta Apoorva, on Tuesday was summoned by Mumbai Police. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karan Johar-owned film company arrived at the Amboli police station to record his statement. This was in connection to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.
As per ANI reports, the Mumbai Police has confirmed that Dharma Productions head Karan Johar will also be summoned by the police. The ANI news agency shared the tweet quoting Mumbai Police, news agency wrote, “Filmmaker Karan Johar’s (in file photo) statement will be recorded this week in the Sushant Singh Rajput case: Mumbai Police”.

On Monday, Mumbai Police has recorded the statement of director Mahesh Bhatt. Bhatt was quoted by DNA, “I have given always given a chance to new talents and never promoted nepotism. I met Sushant first in August 2018 and then in January 2020. We never had any conversation on signing him for my film.”
To date, the Mumbai Police have recorded statements of Sushant’s family members, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, and Rumy Jaffery. The Mumbai police have also added that Kangana Ranaut too will be summoned to record her statement.
