SSR Case: Arrested Drug Peddler Admits Links With Rhea Chakraborty’s Brother Showik

Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case has taken a new turn with a drug angle emerging a few days back. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) shared Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats to the CBI and NCB. The Narcotics Bureau Control has arrested two people in connection to the drug angle. One of the two arrested has admitted that he knew Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty.

As reported by Republic TV, The NCB had arrested two persons on Tuesday. The NCB has also reportedly seized 3.5 kgs of marijuana from foreign post offices by conducting raids in Mumbai and Delhi.

The Republic TV Report added that these narcotics brought down to India from abroad were meant for Page 3 celebrities. Shovik can be called by NCB for questioning very soon. The NCB has also submitted a list of 18 persons allegedly involved in the drug nexus to the Mumbai Police.

The NCB will continue interrogating Rhea Chakraborty post the recovery of her Whats App Chat.  Rhea Chakraborty had denied the claims of having involved in the alleged ‘drug’ chats in her earlier interviews. But reportedly the actress has admitted to her involvement in the same during CBI interrogation.

Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya too is under the scanner. He is being questioned at the Enforcement Directorate office for the second day in a row. Further investigation is underway and more arrests are likely.
