Director SS Rajamouli Tested Positive For COVID-19 With Family Members
SS Rajamouli shared that he and his family are currently home quarantined
Baahubali director SS Rajamouli and his family members have tested positive for COVID-19. The filmmaker shared the news on Twitter on Wednesday. Further, he shared that he and his family are currently home quarantined.
The filmmaker tweeted, “My family members and I developed a slight fever few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors.”
He further added, “All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions… Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma…”
Once the news of his COVID-19 positive test came out, friends and fans have wished SS Rajamouli and his family a speedy recovery. Music director S. Thaman tweeted, “Get well soon sir @ssrajamouli Wishing u a speedy recovery.” Producer Bandla Ganesh wrote, “@ssrajamouli Nothing will happen be happy Sir eat eggs every day take rest be happy & good Sleep.” Actor Jagapathi Babu also posted, “Really sorry to hear that. Please take care and get well soon.”
On the work front, SS Rajamouli is directing the much-awaited film Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR). RRR stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. The film’s shooting has been stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. While the first look of Jr NTR was slated to be released on his birthday in May, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
