Former Indian cricketer and current Big Boss contestant Sreesanth has finally opened up about the Indian Premier League (IPL) slapping incident. It is to be noted that the incident took place in the first season of IPL, wherein Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh had slapped him on the field, which triggered a massive controversy.
However, this is one of the most memorable controversies of Sreesanth. In that season, Sreesanth was playing for Kings XI Punjab whereas his fellow team-mate Harbhajan Singh was playing for Mumbai Indians.
Sreesanth had remained tight-lipped about the slapping incident, but recently in the house of Bigg Boss 12 he said that the incident was more damaging than what it seemed like, because Harbhajan had not just slapped him, he had intended to hit him with more force.

Yet, his career was cut short when he was accused and found guilty in the spot-fixing scandal in IPL and the BCCI made a decision to ban him. Recently, Sreesanth has been brought back into the limelight in the 12th season of Bigg Boss.
Notably, Sreesanth played a major role in the 2011 World Cup, with his ability to tackle even the best batsmen in the world.
