Sooryavanshi: Ranveer, Akshay and Ajay come together for an epic pic with Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty is all set for his next cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ featuring Akshay Kumar to go on the floor. This is Rohit’s fourth cop drama after ‘Singham’ starring Ajay Devgn and ‘Simmba’ with Ranveer Singh. The film has Akshay Kumar playing the role of ATS chief Veer Sooryavanshi. As the movie went on the floor today the team was joined by Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh.

Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram handle and shared an epic picture of them posing together:
The movie also has ‘Badhaai Ho’ actress Neena Gupta. She has been roped in to play Akshay Kumar’s onscreen mother in the film.
In an interview to Pune Mirror, Neena Gupta said that this film is giving her new opportunities to explore, expressing which she said: “I am happy that more people will get to see my work. Rohit has made some amazing films, which has been appreciated by the audience.”
‘Sooryavanshi’ also features Katrina Kaif who is playing Akshay’s love interest in the film. This is Katrina Kaif’s first movie with Rohit Shetty and Dharma Production. Akshay and Katrina will share screen space after a long hiatus. The two were seen last in 2010 film ‘Tees Maar Khan‘
After shooting for 10/12 days in Mumbai the team will fly off to Bangkok and later move to Ramoji Filmcity in Hyderabad after a brief shoot in Goa.
‘Sooryavanshi’ is all set for an EID 2020 release.
