Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi avoids clash with Salman Khan’s Inshallah
Rohit Shetty Prepones Sooryavanshi Release Date to Make Way for Salman Khan's Inshallah on Eid 2020.
Superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar were all set to clash at the box-office on Eid 2020 with ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Inshallah’. But the mega clash has been avoided all thanks to director Rohit Shetty. The director and one of the producers of ‘Sooryavanshi’, has decided to shift the release date of his film to March 27, 2020.
Salman Khan took to Twitter and sharing an image with Rohit Shetty thanked the director for preponing his cop drama. He wrote, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty. Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.”

‘Inshallah’ marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after a gap of eleven years. The movie has Alia Bhatt in the lead opposite the Dabangg Khan. Salman had announced earlier last week that Inshallah will release on Eid 2020.
‘Sooryavanshi’, on the other hand, is an extension of Rohit Shetty’s cop drama after ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’. The movie brings back the hit Jodi of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif together once again after a decade long gap.
Salman Khan’s latest Eid release ‘Bharat’ is on a minting spree. The period drama directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has made more than 150 crores at the box-office since its release. The story of the movie is based on a hit Korean Film Ode To My Father. The movie also has Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Tabu and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.
