Sooryavanshi: Akshay Kumar aces bike stunts on the streets of Bangkok

After Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham’ and Ranveer Singh in ‘Simmba’, Rohit Shetty is back with another cop drama Sooryavanshi. This time around the director is collaborating with Akshay Kumar. Shetty had introduced Akshay Kumar in his cop universe in the last scene of his last release. He is at present busy with the shoot in Bangkok.

A day back Rohit Shetty had teased fans with a couple of videos of a stunt. We now have Akshay Kumar performing the high chase bike stunt in the streets of Bangkok.

In the picture, Akshay can be seen riding a bike in a black tee and an army green trouser with sneakers.

Akshay got quite nostalgic after shooting in Thailand. He had begun his career in Bangkok by working in a restaurant as a chef and waiter, to support himself.

Akshay Kumar said,” I always have a lot of fun doing my own stunts. Rohit is anyway a class apart when it comes to action in his films. And doing these bike stunts on the streets of Bangkok was extra special. Many years back I would ride a bike in Bangkok to deliver food. Now I am doing the same all over again, to earn my food (laughs).”

Sooryavanshi revolves around the life of an ATS chief whose wife’s role is played by Katrina Kaif. The film also stars Neena Gupta as Akshay’s mother.

Sooryavanshi is slated to release on May 21, 2020.
