COVID-19: Sonu Sood Offers His Mumbai Hotel For Healthcare Workers
Sonu Sood has come forward to offer help to the healthcare workers fighting the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in Mumbai
After Shah Rukh Khan, now Sonu Sood has come forward to offer help to the healthcare workers fighting the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in Mumbai day and night. He has allowed them to stay at his hotel in Juhu, Mumbai.
While talking to The Times of India, Sonu said, “It’s my honour to be able to do my bit for the doctors, nurses and para-medical staff of our country, who have been working day and night to save people’s lives. They hail from different parts of Mumbai and need a place to rest. We have already approached municipal and private hospitals and informed them about the facility.”
In his statement, the actor wrote, “In the tough times that we have been living & to support the national heroes who have been working tirelessly day & night, I open my hotel in Juhu for all the healthcare workers.
Considering the mammoth duty these heroes are doing right now, this is the least we can do for them. We are all in this together, let’s all come forward & support them.”(sic)

Last week, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan also offered their four-storeyed office space in Mumbai to help the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in order to expand their quarantine capacity, equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women and elders.
At this time of crisis, we need more actors like Shah Rukh and Sonu Sood who can help the doctors, nurses, and other emergency and health workers.
