After Sanjay Raut dig, Sonu Sood meets CM Uddhav Thackeray

Actor Sonu Sood is garnering praises for helping migrant workers stranded in the city post-COVID-19 lockdown. He has been arranging transportation to take them back home to their states. The Dabangg star recently paid a visit to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his Mumbai resident”Matoshree”.

The meeting came on a day when Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut launched a stinging attack on Sonu. Raut alleged that the actor’s generosity was part of a BJP ploy to show the state government in poor light.

The meeting was confirmed Aaditya Thackeray and who took to his Twitter saying, “This evening @SonuSood met up with @CMOMaharashtra Uddhav Thackeray ji along with Minister @AslamShaikh_MLA ji and me. Better Together, Stronger Together to assist as many people through as many people. Good to have met a good soul to work for the people together.”

“The CM @OfficeofUT was glad to meet @SonuSood and discussed the work everyone is doing for the people during covid relief. Misunderstandings don’t exist but what does is a commitment to help people,” he added.

In an interaction with media Sood Sood said, he has been receiving support from every party in the country in his efforts to help migrant workers. He denied any misunderstanding with the state government.
