Sonu Sood is doing his best to send the migrant workers stranded to reach home. Now, he has come to the aid of his ‘R… Rajkumar’ co-star and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ actor Surendra Rajan as he has been stuck in Mumbai for months due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Reportedly, Surendra Rajan had traveled to Mumbai to shoot for a web series but sadly got stuck since the lockdown was announced by the government. Sood has assured to send the veteran actor back to his hometown of Satna before June 18, 2020.
Talking about the same, Rajan lauded Sood’s work and told Navbharat Times, “Sonu Sood’s work is amazing and I am surprised that a man is working like this. One cannot do this unless he has a tremendous will to help people from within. He is doing extraordinary work and people like Sonu Sood are rare.”
Further, he also mentioned that he is still in touch with Sanjay Dutt whom he treats like his own son, “I could have asked him for help but I did not want to rely on anyone.” Speaking about the hardships faced, he said, “One of my disciples paid Rs 45,000 for three months. I also got help from the RSS as they gave me ration.”
Meanwhile, Sonu Sood’s ‘Ghar Bhejo’ initiative to help the stranded migrants has earned him a lot of appreciation. The actor has been organizing buses, trains, flights to help the migrant workers reach their hometowns in various states across India.
