The COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has hit the entire nation with the financial crises. While the government is coming up with new plans to help these migrant workers, Bollywood celebrities are also contributing to help the needy in the crises. Sonu Sood was recently seen sending the migrant workers to their hometown through buses, in the lockdown. Now, the actor helps 150 more migrant workers to fly to Kochi in a chartered flight.
A total of 150 women laborers from Odisha were looking for a hope to reach back to their hometown after they resigned from their jobs from a textile factory in Kerala’s Ernakulam district. However, they couldn’t find a way back home until Sonu Sood comes for their rescue. The actor arranged a charter flight for these migrant women workers and the flight from Cochin International Airport in Ernakulam district took off to Bhubaneshwar in Odisha on Friday morning i.e May 29th at 8 am.
Although the actor portrayed the role of a villain in most of his films, today he is hailed as one of the heroes on social media. He has been actively working to help the needy in COVID-19 lockdown. Not only he helped netizens with the travel facilities, but also provided the rooms in his hotel in Mumbai for health professionals to stay.
