‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Ron Perlman is headed for divorce after almost 40 years of marriage. The actor has filed for divorce amidst rumours of an open marriage. Moreover, there are also speculations that the two may have been living separately for a while.
The 69-year-old actor married his wife on February 14, 1981. Opal Perlman is a jewellery designer who shares two children with the Hellboy actor namely Blake Perlman (1984) and Brandon (1990).
According to ET, the legal documents were filed by celebrity attorney Gary Fishbein and cites irreconcilable differences. The date of the couple’s separation is listed as May 10, 2019.
The divorce filing comes hot on the heels of Ron Perlman being photographed with his StartUp co-star Allison Dunbar outside a restaurant. The photos could have been taken during the filming of the show. They capture the two stars leaving Alexander Steakhouse in Pasadena, California.
However, the two have been getting pretty flirty on Instagram. Earlier this month, the actress shared a bikini photo of herself captioned “Hello from my ass,” and Perlman left a flirty response in her comments.
Back in February, Dunbar shared a photo with Ron Perlman and his daughter, Blake. The post was captioned, “The Perlmans and the Dunbars. Two dynasties collide over the avocado salad. Love my new friends a lot”
InTouch magazine reports that may have had an “open relationship.” The actor last shared a photo of Opal back in April 2018 when he reposted an Instagram photo Blake had shared. The photo is an old one of Opal in 1987.
“Sumthin my daughter posted. Whudisit throwback Tuesday or sumthin? Repost from @blake_perlman using @RepostRegramApp – #parents . . . c1987 ?,” Perlman captioned the photo.
