In a shocking turn of events, popular model and South Korean actress Song Yoo-Jung passed away on Saturday in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, aged 26. The news of her demise was confirmed by her management agency, Sublime Artist Agency via Instagram. The statement did not give a cause of death. Song was laid to rest at a funeral held on January 25. As per her family’s wish, the funeral was held “quietly”.
Sharing the news on the agency’s Instagram handle, the note that was written in Korean, read as: “Actor Song Yoo-jeong has left us. Yoo Jeong-i has always been our friend who gave happiness with a bright smile, and she was a wonderful actor who played her roles with a passion more than anyone else.”

In 2013, she made her acting debut in the MBC series ‘Golden Rainbow.’ Later, in 2014, she gained the audience’s attention for her performance in the same cable channel series ‘Make a Wish.’ In 2017, she also appeared in the television series ‘School 2017.’ In 2018, Song starred in the boy band iKON’s music video for Goodbye Road. She also featured in a popular web series in 2019, ‘Dear My Name.’
