Sonakshi Sinha Lashes Out At Vivek Agnihotri For Spreading ‘Fake News’; Seeks Mumbai Police’s Help

These days fake news are doing the rounds on social media. Some people without verifying, share those news that mislead the public and they start judging. Same happened with filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, who had spread a baseless rumour about Sonakshi Sinha of shooting even after the lockdown.

Vivek shared a photograph of Sonakshi from one of her shoots and asked: “Who shoots in such times?”

Sonakshi took to Twitter to school the filmmaker and also sought help from the Mumbai Police. She wrote, “Excuse me@MumbaiPolice, @OfficeofUTwhat is the procedure to stop people from spreading rumors and fake news at a time like this? Asking for a responsible citizen, sitting at home, practicing social distancing and NOT shooting – ME”

Responding to Sonakshi’s reaction, The Tashkent Files director gave a clarification that he took a dig at the portal who published the fake news and not at her as he didn’t tag her. Sonakshi gave an apt reply saying, “Dont post someone else’s picture 2 take a dig at someone else,be specific.”
