Posting an old picture of Ekta with Laksshya Kapoor, the Union Minister wrote, “You brighten our lives with your smile, you strengthen our resolve with your support no matter what battles lie ahead, your belief that time will heal all wounds and do justice helped me sail through many turbulent phases, your conversations with God … there are many ways for us in the Irani family to describe you but words won’t be enough ?Happy Birthday”

Ekta and Smriti have been sharing a great bond since 18 years. With Ekta’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Smriti aka Tulsi became a household name. They have been always supporting each other in their respective careers. In the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Mrs. Irani had a massive victory in Amethi with a margin of 55,120 votes against Rahul Gandhi. Ekta’s love knows no bounds when it comes to her soul sister Smriti Irani. To celebrate the win, both walked 14 km to Siddhi Vinayak. This shows the bond and connection they share with each other.
In every family functions or occasions, we see Smriti presence. In fact, she is very close to Ekta’s family.
Smriti Irani is now the Union Women and Child Development (WCD) Minister.
