‘Simmba’ and not ‘Kedarnath’ to be Sara Ali Khan’s debut film?

After months of delay, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0 is slated to hit theatres on November 30 because of that, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan-starrer Kedarnath will be postponed to a later date.

According to a report by DNA, the makers wanted to release Kedarnath in December this year but they don’t want the film to clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Zero.

In all likelihood, Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba will be Sara Ali Khan’s launchpad. Ranveer Singh starrer action comedy film Simmba will hit theatres on December 28. The first schedule of the film was shot in Hyderabad and Rohit Shetty will start filming the remaining part of the movie soon. Rohit Shetty was in Argentina shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi and came back to India on Monday itself.

The daily quoted, “Rohit, who was in Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi, has arrived in Mumbai and will begin the next schedule today. The film should wrap up by mid-October because it is being readied for a year-end release.”
