A few days back, Showik has reportedly filed a fresh bail application in the special NDPS Court in Mumbai. In his bail, he stated that he has been falsely implicated in the case even though no drugs or psychotropic substances were seized from his possession.
Earlier, a special court had rejected Showik’s bail application, after which the same was taken forward in the Bombay High Court, which was also rejected.
Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan’s name immerged in the Bollywood-drugs nexus linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. They were also questioned by the NCB.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. However, the discussion surrounding his demise has not yet ended.
