Shocking! Arbaaz Khan confesses to betting in IPL and losing 2.75 crores
Superstar Salman Khan‘s brother Arbaaz khan was summoned by the Thane police on Friday afternoon, in connection with the Indian Premier League (IPL) betting scam. According to a report in NDTV, actor-filmmaker, Arbaaz Khan admitted to Thane police about placing bets during the Indian Premier League. The investigative officer in this case, Pradeep Sharma has submitted his preliminary report to Thane CP.

The actor even confessed to placing bets during the last six seasons of IPL. An investigating officer revealed that Arbaaz apparently lost 2.75 crores in these bettings to bookie Sonu Jalan. As Arbaaz failed to pay the amount to Sonu, the bookie threatened him with dire consequences.
The Thane police arrested notorious bookie Sonu Jalan a few days back and during the interrogation, he revealed about having a connection with Arbaaz Khan and other B-town celebs. (Also Read:Arbaaz Khan summoned by Thane Police in connection with IPL betting scam)
