Ahead of India vs West Indian cricket match series, former Pakistani cricketer and commentator Shoiab Akhtar has chosen his favourite Indian cricketer. In a question-answer session on Twitter, Shoaib Akhtar was asked to choose his favourite one amid Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The Rawalpindi Express chose Virat Kohli over Rohit Sharma.
Another user asked, Should Rohit Sharma take over the reign of Indian Cricket team from the incumbent captain? it is a question that so many people are currently asking on the internet. However, Shoaib Akhtar did not find Rohit as the best successor to Kohli and said not required. Looking at his answers, Shoaib seems to be a fan of Virat Kohli.
He was further asked what does he feel about former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and was asked to describe MS Dhoni in a single world. And his answer was a LEGEND.

Speaking about Kohli-Sharma rift, Kohli is quoted as saying at the presser, “If I don’t like a person, you will see that on my face. I’ve always praised Rohit. We have had no issues. Don’t know who is benefitting from all of this. We are working to get Indian cricket top. Within the team, it is for everyone to see. It’s evident on the field. Can’t play the way we do if there was no camaraderie.”
“I have also heard a lot from outside. If the team atmosphere was not good, then we would not have been able to be performing the way we did. We have been consistent. It is possible because of our camaraderie,” Kohli further added.
