A video of Shiv Sena leader Nitin Nandgaonkar asking Bandra’s Karachi Sweet owner to change name is viral. Nandgaonkar can be heard saying change the name to something “which is not related to Karachi” or write it in the Marathi language.
The MNS-turned-Sena leade himself shared the video of the incident on his Facebook account. Nandgaonkar tells the owner that he will return after 15-20 days and that he can contact him if he needs any kind of assistance in changing the name.

According to ANI, the owner of the shop has now covered the name with a paper.
Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena has said that, “Karachi bakery & Karachi sweets have been in Mumbai since last 60 years. They have nothing to do with Pakistan. It makes no sense to ask for changing their names now.”
This is not the first time Nandgaonkar is hitting headlines. In July he had created a ruckus at the Hiranandani Hospital in Powai. He had threatened the doctors for not handing the body of a COVID-19 patient to his family.
