This year’s Valentine’s Day will always be a special one for Shireen Mirza as her boyfriend popped the much-awaited question and asked her for marriage. The actress is well known and popular for her role as Simran aka ‘Simmi’ Bhalla Khurana in the popular television show, ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein.’
Talking about her proposal, it was not less than a romantic Bollywood scenario. The actress’s beau Hasan Sartaj flew down to Jaipur and got down on his knees to propose to her on February 14, 2021. During a chat with The Times Of India, she revealed that she wanted to host a special lunch for him as it was their first Valentine’s together, instead she herself got the biggest surprise of her life.
Shireen was completely clueless about the proposal and as they were about to sit down, Hasan got down on his knee and popped the question with a diamond ring in his hand. Recollecting the moment, she said that tears started flowing down her eyes. She also said that it was the easiest decision that she ever made.
Lastly, she spoke about her wedding and said that they will get hitched this year itself. She also said that she has been praying for a guy like Hasan and that she can now say that fairytales are for real. Hasan also met his to-be wife’s parents at their Jaipur residence and also spent some time with them.
