Since the past few days, there have been reports stating ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Shefali Jariwala will be replacing Saumya Tandon as Anita Bhabhi in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain.’ Reportedly, she is not willing to shoot amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as she doesn’t want to risk the health of her newborn baby at home.
However, when Telly Chakkar asked Shefali for confirmation for the same, the ‘Kaanta Laga’ fame said, “I can’t talk about it right now.” However, neither Saumya nor the makers of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ have responded to the rumors yet.
For the uninformed, Saumya plays the role of Anita Bhabhi in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’, a modern lady who leads grooming classes in Kanpur, the show has gained many positive reviews and acclaim from the critics and viewers.
Earlier, the actress spoke about facing a pay cut because of the COVID-19 crises, talking to ETimes, she said, “It’s not just me, it has happened with everybody. It’s not in just our industry, it is happening everywhere. It is for the work that is to be done for the future, it is not for the work which we have already done for which the payments are pending,”
‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ depicts the story of two neighboring couples, the Mishras, and the Tiwari’s, in which the husbands are attracted to each other’s wives and attempt various ultimately unsuccessful ways to impress them, the plot is said to be based & inspired by the 1994 Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati, produced by Binaifer Kohli under the banner of Edit II Productions.
