According To The Latest Reports, The Sharpshooter Who Was Involved In Attacking Hrithik Roshan's Father, Rakesh In 2000 Is Now Arrest By Police In Thane, Maharashtra
According to the media reports, Hrithik Roshan’s father, Rakesh was attacked by a sharpshooters in the month of January, 2000. Apparently, the shooter had fired six bullets from his gun with the intension of assassinating the filmmaker. However, the shooter now gets arrested by Police in Thane, Maharashtra.
The notorious criminal and renowned sharpshooter has been arrested apparently three months after he the jumped parole. The accused, Sunil V Gaikwad is 52-year-old man and he was apprehended from the Parsik Circle area in Kalwa on Friday i.e. October 9. The senior inspector of the Central Crime Unit Anil Honrao while talking about the accused informed the news agency, PTI that they had got the tip that Gaikwad was coming to Parsik Circle area and thus they were able to catch him up.
Anil stated to the portal, “The accused has 11 cases of murder and seven cases of attempt to murder registered against him. One of these includes an attempt on Bollywood director Rakesh Roshan’s life in 2000,” The inspector further added, “Gaikwad had been sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case and was lodged at Nashik central jail. However, he came out on 28-day parole on 26 June this year. He was expected to return to jail after completion of the parole period. However, he did not do so. He was hiding till his arrest last night.”
The actor and the filmmaker are yet to react on the arrest of the sharpshooter.
On the work fronts, Hrithik Roshan and his father are currently gearing up for the release of Krrish 4′. The director had apparently revealed about working on the final script for the flick.
