Hollywood actress Sharon Stone recently announced her memoir, ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’ in which, she revealed some shocking details about her 2001 massive stroke, career, family, fortune, and global fame. The actress also shared that she and her sister Kelly were sexually abused as children by their grandfather.
Stone told Willie Geist on ‘Sunday Today’ and recalled the horrifying incident and shared that her grandfather passed away when she was fourteen and she poked into the casket to make sure he was dead. “I poked him, and the bizarre satisfaction that he was at last dead hit me like a ton of ice. I looked at [Kelly] and she understood, she was 11, and it was over.” She also shared that her grandmother would lock them up with their grandfather.
The ‘Basic Instinct’ actress also recalled her near-death experience after she had a 2001 cerebral hemorrhage stroke. She said that the room was very silent and when no one is running around trying to fix her during that time, that’s when one realizes that death is near. The doctors had also told her that she might die soon as she could not stop bleeding for nine days.
Later, she stated that her doctor gave her bigger breast implants without her consent during reconstructive surgery in 2001.
‘The Beauty of Living Twice’ will be available on 30 March.
