Sharad Yadav: BJP govt caused more harm than good since independence
Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) patron Sharad Yadav attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday stating they have lost credibility. He was of the opinion that no other government have caused more harm than good since independence.
Addressing a press conference in Muzaffarpur, the former Union minister alleged that the BJP government under PM Modi have failed by not fulfilling the 2014 poll promises. He said, as reported by Indian Express, “This government (Narendra Modi govt) is looting people. Since independence, people have not witnessed a government which causes more harm than good. It has made a mess of everything. Around seven crore people lost their jobs due to demonetisation.”
Yadav also alleged that the government is continuously increasing the prices of essential commodity, without recognising the fact that people are angry. He said, “Narendra Modi made one false promise after another…People are witnessing skyrocketing prices (of almost every commodity). Petrol-diesel prices are rising on a daily basis. The central government has collected Rs 11 lakh crore on account of petroleum products alone.”
Attacking the Nitish Kumat government in Bihar, Yadav alleged that Kumar ditched 11 crore people when he switched sides and chose to walk with BJP in 2017. It is to be known that soon after Kumar joined hands with BJP, the senior leader resigned from JD(U) and formed his new party named — Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD).
