Sharad Pawar Gets Gallbladder Stone Removed, Doctor's Says He's Under Observation
NCP Cheif Sharad Pawar (80) complained of abdominal pains on Sunday. He was soon rushed to the hospital for a check-up on the same evening. Pawar has been diagnosed with gallbladder disease was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The 80-year-old was soon operated upon and had his gall bladder stone removed.
“Attention please, Our party president Sharad Pawar saheb was supposed to be admitted to the hospital for an endoscopy and surgery procedure tomorrow, but since he is experiencing some pain again in the abdomen, he is admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai today,” Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik tweeted.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope gave an update on the NCP chief heath and said that there is nothing to worry about. Sharad Pawar ji is doing well after the operation. Stone has been removed from the gallbladder successfully. It was done through endoscopy.
Doctor Amit Maydeo told reporters that after conducting some tests, they decided to perform the surgery on him (Sharad Pawar) as there were some complications. The procedure was of half an hour. They will be deciding on the removal of his Gallbladder later. He added that Pawar’s condition is fine but since the procedure was done just a while ago, so currently, he is under observation.
