‘Shakuntala Devi’ Trailer Out: Vidya Balan As Math Genius Inspires Us To Follow Our Dreams 

Vidya Balan’s upcoming film, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ has been quite an anticipation ever since the makers unveiled the teaser of the film. The trailer of the film has been unveiled and we must say that Vidya looks quites impressive as the Math genius in the film. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra in the key role.

The 2 minutes 47 seconds trailer starts featuring Shakuntala’s childhood and gives us an insight to the era in which Shakuntala Devi stunned the world with her magical relationship with math. While Vidya’s character inspires us to fall in love with our dream, its also shows the struggles she faces in her life. The bittersweet relationship of the mother-daughter(Vidya and Sanya) duo adds more drama to the film. And even Vidya confirms at the end of the trailer, “We Indians are like that only. Drama or nothing.”

The plot of the film is based on the real life story of math genius, Shakuntala Devi, who was popularly known as the Human Computer. The film also stars Jisshu Sengupta and Amit Sadh alongside Vidya and Sanya in the key roles. The film is being helmed by Anu Menon and it will be released on Amazon Prime Video on July 31.
