Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al-Hasan was handed a fine of 15 per cent of his match fee for shouting at the umpire during the opening T20I against the West Indies, said the International Cricket Council.
The left-arm spin bowler was also handed one demerit point, which is just the second time he has received the penalty since it was introduced in 2016.

He now two demerit points. Earlier he had received one demerit point against Sri Lanka in March this year.
Shakib showed anger at the umpire who didn’t call a wide in the 14th over while Bangladesh were bowling.
“He first shouted at the umpire and then got involved in a prolonged discussion,” read a statement by the ICC.
“After the end of the match, Shakib admitted the offence and accepted the sanction,” it added.
The left-hander scored 61 of 43 balls but it all ended it vain as his team succumbed to an embarrassing loss. They were eventually skittled out at 129 and the West Indies brushed off the total with 55 players to take a 1-0 lead.
The second and the third matches would be played in Dhaka on Thursday and Saturday. Prior to this series, Bangladesh beat West Indies 2-0 in the Test series and also won the ODI series 2-1.
